Black Belt may seem like the end to some but it is actually the beginning of serious training. In TaeKwonDo there are 9 Black Belt levels beginning with 1st Dan. Black Belts have to test for each Dan and have to wait at least the same number of years for the correspoding Dan level. For 2nd Dan, 2 years. 3rd Dan, 3 years and so on.
